Unless you are going to get into film processing and printing techniques like the Zone System, you will probably find nothing more complicated than "lighting" your subjects.

As you begin to learn how to photograph nudes, you will want to keep the lighting VERY simple so you can concentrate on your model.  You will have your 'hands full' just posing her and working with her expressions. After you learn the other techniques of posing etc. you will want to use more complex lighting to get your photos to snap out and look more professional.
If you are already familiar with simpler lighting techniques, you will want to skip this lesson until later and concentrate on the lessons of posing and composition.  After they become second nature to you, you can then return to take the more advanced lighting techniques.
